self catering options (UNGRADED)
Adjacent to the Game Reserve is a self catering option incorporating the following units:
Sunbird Cottage - enjoys total seclusion set in it's own garden setting and can accommodate up to six people. It comprises two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, lounge/dining room, bathroom, separate toilet and kitchen and is fully equipped including full sized cooker, fridge/freezer, crockery, linen and towels. It enjoys stunning views of the mountain range.
Robin's Nest - is the perfect hideaway for couples and is of open plan design complete with four poster bed. It is a simple design and also enjoys a garden setting. There is a fire pit outside with private braai facilities where you can relax and enjoy the gentle surroundings. There is a separate bathroom en-suite (shower - no bath) from the bedroom area and the kitchen is equipped with mini stove/oven, fridge and kitchen utensils. Linen and towels are provided.
The Stables - are of a similar lay out to Robin's Nest and enjoy an ethnic/African theme in a garden setting. They are bright and spacious with everything you need to enjoy a romantic getaway including a four-poster bed. There is a fire pit outside with private braai facilities where you can relax and enjoy the gentle surroundings. Linen and towels are provided. Note bathrom is shower only - no bath.
NOTE: Both Robin's Nest and The Stables are basic getaway accommodation only.
Sunbird Main House - is a luxurious two bedroom house with spectacular views from the main terrace. Bathroom with bath and shower and a separate toilet room. Kitchen fully equipped. Open plan lounge and dining room. Closest to Jacuzzi and pool. Sun stoep/ verandah. Maximum six people if use sleeper couches in lounge.
THERE ARE NO TV's AT ANY OF THE SELF CATERING UNITS.
A swimming pool and OUTDOOR OPEN AIR Jacuzzi are available for guests as well as braai facilities.
