1. ACCOMMODATION FOR SA RESIDENTS:

The rates below are PER PERSON PER NIGHT DINNER, BED & BREAKFAST      for Plumari Game Lodge (Warthogs only accomodates groups)
These rates EXCLUDE lunch, personal bar accounts, personal laundry, transfers,  purchases of merchandise and incidentals.

1a. ACCOMMODATION FOR FOREIGNERS:

2. WEDDINGS (at Plumari Game Lodge):

The main costs for your wedding will be as follows:

(i) Wedding buffet pricing as per menus (see menus under "Wedding" section)

(ii) 2008/2009 Venue hire (including 21 chalets B&B)** as follows:

Saturday, Sunday, public holiday  R28,000 SA residents  USD5,600 foreigners

Friday                                            R25,000 SA  residents  USD 5,000 foreigners

Any other day                                R23,000 SA residents  USD 4,600 foreigners

 ** Venue hirage includes services of our wedding coordinator, chapel, reception halls, cutlery, plates, glasses, tables, tablecloths (cream) and overlays (same colour) and tables set with afore-mentioned items.  It also includes all 21 chalets at the lodge on a B&B basis.  Our business is selling bed nights and unfortunately due to noise/ disruption we cannot have non-wedding guests staying on the night of an event.  This is the reason that we can only accept weddings if the entite lodge is taken.  Note that the chalet cost is calculated as 21 rooms at 2 per room at a discounted rate of R500/ person = R21,000.  The "actual venue hire" is thus the figure above less the R21,000 (i.e. R7,000 for Sat,Sun).  Often Bridal parties  tell their guests the above pricing and collect the accommodation themselves to mitigate the overall cost. 

NOTE: 

(iii) Chair covers (R8 or USD1.60/ chair)

(iv) Waiters and Barman:

 - one waiter per 8 guests for buffet at R40/ waiter/ hour charged from one hour prior to reception

 - one barman is included in venue hire to cater for groups of up to 50. Every extra 50 guests (or part thereof) will require one extra barman at R65/ barman/ hour charged from one hour prior to reception

(v) Hireage of Cape Cart for bride and father to be driven from chalet to the Chapel R900 (optional) 

(vi) Bar tab (cash, bar tab, limit or combination) - you are welcome to bring your own wines and/or champagnes however this will incur a corkage fee of R35/ bottle. Drinks to be supplied by wedding party must be agreed with the Wedding Coordinator in advance.  No other beverages may be brought on site

(vii) 30 minute photo session with bridal party and elephants R1,650.

 2010 pricing will likely be 10% higher (as a guide at this stage).

4. GAME DRIVES:

Big five game drives have a duration of approximately 3 hours and cost R225 per head and USD45 for foreigners. Elephant experiences are R385 per head and USD75 for foreigners.  

5. OTHER EVENTS:

We also cater for other events - please let us know the details and we will make a quote accordingly.
